How to play

Tap flying ducks to shoot. Ranked runs begin at Level 1 and combine your points as you advance. Selecting another unlocked level starts practice. If you miss a goal, the run ends; your completed level points still count. The three main rounds last 60 seconds. Clear Quiet Creek to unlock Open Water, then clear Open Water to unlock Storm Marsh. Faster levels award 1.5× and 2× points. Your three shells reload automatically when empty; tap Reload to top up sooner. Duck Call brings the flock closer and slows it for 4 seconds, then needs time to recharge.

Land consecutive hits to build a multiplier up to 3×. Aim at the head for a +200 headshot bonus. Body hits still count. A glowing band adds +300. Classic goals stay 35,000 in Level 1, 75,000 in Level 2, and 100,000 in Level 3. Outfitted goals are 70,000, 140,000, and 175,000. Each goal uses that level’s points, including bonuses; your run total combines every completed level. Clear the Level 3 goal to reveal Feather Frenzy: 20 seconds, huge mixed flocks, 0.25-second reloads, 3× level points, and streaks up to 6×. Finish Level 1, 2 or 3 at 95% accuracy or better to earn 1,500 bonus points. Perfect 100% accuracy adds another 2,500 points, for 4,000 accuracy points total. At least one shot is required; every shot must hit a duck without hitting a protected bird. Feather Frenzy adds points without an accuracy bonus and does not change your run accuracy. Final accuracy on new runs is based only on Levels 1–3. Common loons, great blue herons and bald eagles are off-limits in this game. They appear alongside ducks in Level 2 and more often in Level 3; none appear in Level 1 or Feather Frenzy. A subtle red ring marks them in Level 2. Level 3 has no markers: identify them by their appearance. Finish Level 2 or 3 without hitting any off-limits birds to earn a 2,500-point clean flight bonus, which stacks with the accuracy bonus. Both bonuses count toward that level’s goal. Hitting one deducts the same points as an equivalent duck shot, including its level, headshot and streak multipliers, then resets the streak. It counts as an inaccurate shot. Scores can fall below zero. On a keyboard, use arrow keys to aim, Space or Enter to shoot, R to reload, C to call, D to deploy decoys, and P to pause. Tap Outfitted above the game to use decoys and the wider shot pattern. New players get a one-time starter pack of three duck calls, three decoy spreads, three spinning decoys, three wide chokes, three speed reload kits and three extra point tokens. Duck calls and extra point tokens work in both modes. Choose Outfitted for chokes, decoys and speed reloaders. Coin refills are in Coins & Gear. Supplies only decrease when activated. Permanent decoys cover one deployment each level. Fit your wide choke on the untimed Get ready screen or during play. It uses one choke for the rest of that level unless permanently owned; fit another on the next level. Unused stock carries over. Your mode stays fixed throughout a run. Calls and both decoys are activated only while playing. A 15-second Extra Point Token adds +100 points per duck for 15 active seconds; one per level in Classic or Outfitted Levels 1–3. A speed reload kit gives 15 active seconds of 0.45-second reloads; one per main Outfitted level, with no limit on reload count during that window. Both can be equipped before flight or activated during play. Their timers pause with the game and end with the level; an already-started reload keeps its original duration. A wide shot can hit up to two ducks; any off-limits bird in its pattern also loses points. One trigger pull counts as one accurate shot only if it hits a duck and no off-limits birds. A two-duck shot is 100% accurate, never 200%. Use one standard spread and one spinning-wing decoy in the same Outfitted level, in either order. The spread draws two ducks for 2.5 seconds with +25% water assist; the spinner draws four other ducks for five seconds with +35% water assist. Each keeps its own timer and supply use. A duck earns only the assist from the decoy that attracted it. Decoys on the water are scenery, not targets. Classic and Outfitted have separate leaderboards and share cards. Every ranked player can download a card with their current place, best posted score and accuracy. The top five earn trophy cards. Each card shows its mode and the time its rank was checked.

Before each main level, Get ready offers an extra point token in both modes. Outfitted also offers wide choke and speed reloader; timed items are excluded from Feather Frenzy. Nothing is used until you tap Start flight, and the timer waits for confirmation. Finish a ranked level with a saved, verified player to earn at least 2 coins, even below Bronze, up to the 10,000 daily play cap. Higher tiers replace that minimum; practice and abandoned rounds earn no coins.

Privacy and scores

Duck Frenzy uses a secure browser cookie to remember your player and saved rounds. Sound preferences, gear choices and personal practice bests stay on your device. Posting makes your nickname, best score, level and accuracy public. Location is optional and entered by you; if supplied, it appears on both leaderboards and share cards. We do not detect it automatically. Clear the location field and post again to remove it from future entries and cards; images already downloaded or shared do not change. Nicknames are player chosen, not verified identities. Use a nickname you are comfortable sharing.

We keep one best result per player on each board. Round records are eligible for removal after 30 days; best scores remain until removed. Short-lived request counters use your player ID and, when supplied by our hosting provider, a daily hash of your network address to limit spam. Expired counters are removed during normal activity. Errors record a request ID and route without your shot data or nickname. The hosting provider also processes connection data needed to serve the game.

Duck Frenzy offers free play, optional purchases and advertising on supported versions. The full policy explains saved scores, account recovery, purchases, advertising and your privacy choices. Save your player on the account page to recover online results after changing phones or clearing browser data. Sign-in is optional; your provider name and email are never used on the leaderboard. Unsaved guest players still depend on their browser cookie. Clearing browser data does not remove a posted score. Read the full Privacy Policy.
